Service Description

Dr. Moore is a Certified Special Education Consultant in Maine and is recognized as an "otherwise Qualified Healthcare Provider" for Medicaid reimbursement. She works with parents and school systems to conduct functional behavior assessments, describe atypical behaviors and reinforcements (the ABC's of behavioral health), and make recommendations for learning styles, curriculum, and any accommodations that the child may need for academic success. The neuro-behavioral report will provide a clear and comprehensive view that explores the relationship between academic achievement, functional health and how the brain utilizes nutrition, functional behaviors and behavior modification recommendations, preferred learning styles, curriculum design, recommended educational differentiation and placement/classroom supports. This report can be used by educational psychologists to make formal diagnosis and psychological interventions for children in both the home and school settings.
